The Bachelorette: Wearing Your Heart on Your Sleeve . . . Literally

Recap: the games continue
Ok, so this weeks episode delivered exactly what was expected: good TV. Last week, I hoped that Rated-R's hike would inspire more off the script ventures, but I didn't mean a direct hike to the tattoo parlor. First let's talk about the good stuff and then the bad.
Awesome.
For the group date, an under-the-weather Ali brought the boys to
the Minskoff Theatre on Broadway where "The Lion King" is performed. First off, I have seen "The Lion King" and I have never felt so good about my life. The production is awe inspiring. I am a musical geek and so I cherished this fun and unusual date. They got to "audition" with a song and a dance. Though Roberto (sigh) won the audition, Jesse was the stand out singer. Roberto sang directly to Ali, helping her "feel the love tonight." Basically, Roberto is my personal favorite. He is great in all aspects.
Chris L. got a solo date for his birthday. Chris L. is real and genuine. He is sensitive about his family and wants a family in the near future. Ali was sick in bed so she invited him over to spend time with her. He brought her flowers and soup (another sigh). There was something curing about that soup because she felt better after awhile and they went to dinner. While on the date she whipped out her phone and let him call his dad for his birthday. Because phone calls are banned, it was a big deal. He had tears in his eyes. Precious. Afterwards they went upstairs to the roof top where Joshua Radin sang them into their first kiss. Chris had moments to kiss her before this but I am glad he waited! It was romantic and strong. He is a strong kisser, you can just tell. ;)
Weatherman got sent home. Weatherman is really nice and all, he was just whiny because he wasn't getting in with Ali. He wasn't right for Ali and when he pulled out his guitar to serenade her (come on guys! It's nice the first five times!) it sealed the deal. Here is to hoping he never crosses paths with Craig M.
Not so Awesome.
Kasey sang some bizarrely improvised song. Twice. This person . . . I don't know. Interesting character. The editing lead us to believe that Ali gave him no positive reinforcement whatsoever. But she really did think that he had gone crazy.
Kasey reminded Ali that he will protect and guard her heart. Seriously. A lot. Kasey must be part robot only programmed with certain phrases to say over and over again. He said that he will "protect and guard [her] heart" over and over again. Ali caught on saying that he was giving her these lines instead of being a real person.
Speaking of creepy. Kasey got a tattoo of a heart protect by a shield. Get it? Protecting and guarding the heart. gag! Apparently, this is his way of showing her that he's done with the grand gestures and over-the-top antics. *cough* When it came time to talk with Ali during the cocktail party he seemed legit in why he was there but he didn't tell her about the tat. Allowing him to stay . . . He got a rose! And now he gets to go to Iceland with the gang. Noooo!!
All in all, it was a great episode delivering drama and heartbreak. Jesse and Jonathon (weatherman) were the two to go home. Jesse has a good one-on-one date a couple weeks ago. But it just didn't fit.
Also: Who is Chris N. and how come he keeps getting roses?
K- your turn?? Who is your favorite? What did you think about Kasey's antics?
